A four-storied building of the three-star hotel "Helicon" is situated in a pictorial square of Yanoshi (Ivanovka) village. This village is located three kilometers away from Beregovo town on the motorway Beregovo-Mukachevo.

Fourteen accommodations (double and triple-bedded) and five high-class apartments can house more than fifty visitors at once.

We suggest our guests to visit the well-known thermal swimming-pool in the center of Beregovo town. Another opportunity to try the curative power of thermal water is possible in the recreation area of Kosino village. This area is surrounded by the fabulous oak forest and situated 15km far from our hotel.

If you are eager to become familiar with history of Zakarpatya, its ancient castles, historical places and distinctive culture - than an experienced guide will be at your service. He will help you to grow fond of this picturesque region.

We can offer our guests to visit such places of interest as: castles in Mukachevo and Uzhgorod, ethnographic museum in the open air (Uzhgorod), Verechanskiy mountain-pass, oak forest in Yanoshi village, ruins of church in Muzhiyevo and ruins of castle in Kvasovo village.

Besides medieval church located in Chetfalva village, viewing of two new churches is also advised. These Greek- and Rome-Catholic churches were built in 2002 and they are remarkable for their original architectural construction.

A monument dedicated to the thousandth anniversary of Hungarians' gaining their mother country is established in Choma village. Another monument dedicated to revolt of Kurutc is erected in urban village of Vilok. Beregovo town was the center of Berezhskaya zhupa (zhupa means district in old times). You can be familiarized with unique history of this town in the museum consecrated to the Beregovo region.

Do you like active resting? Excellent! You will be suggested to go for a walk on hills or in the centuries-old chestnut forest located around Beregovo. But if you like to spend your time by fishing than you are welcome to visit local lakes and ponds. For those who prefer to go in for winter sports there are resorts for mountain-skiers situated 25-30 km far from our hotel.

Region of Beregovo is famous of its vineyards and wine-making. You will become certain of this fact if you will visit wine-house in the Yanoshi village and carry out a wine-testing. You can also order this sunny nectar in the restaurant "Zustrich". Apropos, you will surely grow fond of the Hungarian cuisine since dishes prepared for you in this restaurant are really delicious!
